Earth Day:
Our annual Earth Day celebration will be held on Friday, April 20th. PTA will again be hosting this exciting event. If you would like to volunteer, please contact Chair Kenny Hasegawa at kenny.hasegawa@bevyes.com.
VOLUNTEER HOURS DUE:
Please email your volunteers hours to brightwood.hours@yahoo.com. Include: your name and total hours for the 2011-12 school year (including an estimate of hours until the last day of school)
Many matching funds and grants depend on the percentage of parent participation and volunteer hours. It is very important for us to record all volunteer hours for Brightwood.
Movie Night:
The next PTA movie night will feature The Adventures of TinTin. Eight grade will begin selling dinner at 5:30pm and the movie will start at 7pm.
Parent Volunteer Meeting:
We invite you to come to our 2nd meeting on Friday, April 27 from 8 am to 8:30am and learn how we can work together with the teachers and administration to further our children’s academic performance and school spirit.
Brightwood Buck Store:
The next Brightwood Buck Store will be held on Friday, April 27th during Recess and Lunch.

Cell Phones:
Students must have a Electronic Signaling Device form signed by a parent and given to the office before bringing a cell phone to school.

PTA Savings Card Fundraiser:
It's not too late to purchase! Cards are $10 each. Submit orders to your child's teacher. All monies raised go directly to support our school.
